Talk: Wild Fell- restoring the wild nature of Haweswater by Lee Schofield

Famous for decades as the home of England’s only golden eagle, Haweswater is a dramatic landscape of rushing rivers, flower-strewn crags, mossy woodlands and squelching bogs. RSPB care for a 30 square kilometre chunk of this wild corner of the Lake District, which though now sadly missing its eagles, is where Lee Schofield is working alongside colleagues and volunteers to breathe life back into the hills in the hope of one day tempting them back.
