Turning a Hobby into a Career with Liam Fawell | Online workshop

Born and raised in Western Australia, Liam Fawell spent the last 6 years as a photographer and creative, working predominantly in the areas of lifestyle, fashion and music. During this time, he has had to turn ideas into stories using motion and stills through different mediums. Over his young adult career, Liam has had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands, artists, and individuals, to collaborate on projects and bring concepts to life visually.
In this 90 minute online session, hear how this passionate photographer turned a love of capturing stills and creating content, into a career. During this session, Liam will share his industry knowledge and some of his tips and tricks as to how you too can make a living out of doing what you love.
Liam will take you through his creative thought process and what he does from the initial stages of pitching, to receiving the brief, and then the creative thinking that goes through his head whilst he shoots on set, and how he edits his work at the post processing stage.
Liam will also talk through the importance of networking, building a portfolio, knowing your gear, reaching out and creating opportunities that will maximise organisation and workflow.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to gets started in turning their love of photography into a business.
