Learn drawing skills on-line – Coastal scene in soft pastels
Dust off your pastel set and join us for an enjoyable trip to the seaside. Using a limited palette we will find our way around the rocks and cliff tops, looking for ways to combine colours and use textures and marks to enliven the composition.
Materials list: An ordinary pencil, some paper suitable for pastels, (or if you are very lucky you may have some pastelmat or very fine grain sandpaper which is super). Any set of soft pastels, and finally some cotton buds, and also an old tea towel to wipe your fingers on.
Optional – tea and biscuits of your choice!
Full demonstration is given throughout and you will have plenty of time for asking questions as we go along. Classes take part on-line using Zoom so please ensure you have a comfortable perch to view your screen and a secure internet connection.
Zoom link and an image to work from will be forwarded a few days before the workshop – please print this out beforehand if you can, however if you have no access to a printer, you will be able to see Hazel’s throughout the workshop on your screen.
