Collaborating Through the Arts
It’s time to get Arty!
Collaborating through the Arts with Roxanne McPherson
Reach South Learning Festival Session 9
In 2021, Malmesbury Park achieved the Artsmark Platinum Award, a remarkable achievement which reflects the high priority we place on the Arts throughout all aspects of school life. A fundamental part of the Artsmark process is in collaborating and sharing experiences not only within a school, but within groups of schools and the wider community. In this session, we want to share our experiences so far, and discuss how we can all continue working towards our own Artsmark goals. The hope is that we can use this session as a forum for the discussion of ideas, and help each other to create new artistic and awe-inspiring experiences for all the children across the Trust.
A bit about Roxanne McPherson
The Arts is something I am really passionate about and have continually developed during my time at Malmesbury Park. I have worked across the school in a number of roles including 1:1 TA and managing our Autism Unit. I have recently moved into the role of Senior Specialist HLTA, in which I not only develop Arts at a school level but am also working on developing the Arts across the Trust. I am looking forward to sharing my love of the Arts and hopefully inspiring you all to create your own masterpieces.
