Practical ART HISTORY Online

This is a pay what you can event to support artists. Recordings of the classes are available on request to enjoy in your own time via a private video link.

TERM Art Classes have previously been commissioned by Vans x MoMA and have been recognised by The National Archives. Now you can join the community of professional and budding artists at these relaxed and welcoming online Practical Art History classes from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the world! TERM tutors are all artists and will guide you along the way with their background of degree and MA level education in Critical theory, History, Performance Art, Scenography, Fine Art and Art History, including studies at The Royal Drawing School, London.

Practical Art History features an illustrated lecture about the history of a prevalent artist, combined with fun practical art activities inspired by their art for you to take part in. We cover a different classic or contemporary artist each week. By the end of each class, you will have new found knowledge on the work and life of a great artist. You will also be equipped with new techniques to improve your own art practice and to embed your understanding of the artist.

These online Practical Art History classes are for all abilities to enjoy. Join us for portfolio development, practice or fun! The live classes are also followed by an optional informal group art discussion where you can share your art work in a non-judgemental space to help build new found confidence and love for your own unique creativity.

If you can not attend a class, recordings are available on request for you to view. These recordings are sent directly to your email following the class via a YouTube unlisted video link.
