Online Workshop – Metis Bison Wheel Teachings with Leah Dorion

Learn about important Métis teachings of the Bison Wheel, the Red River Cart, and the circle as a cultural symbol. Using artistic activities, Métis artist and teacher Leah Dorion will lead you through this rich and life-affirming program.
For ages 12 +. Excellent for school groups.
Materials needed: paper, and/or pencil crayons.
Leah Marie Dorion is an artist, teacher, filmmaker and writer from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Dorion holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Arts from Athabasca University. Dorion is also a published author of books about Métis history, cultural teachings and storytelling.
