New Year Mindful Art Retreat (online)

This will be an opportunity to reflect on the past year, taking with you what is useful, letting go of things that don’t serve us anymore and setting the tone for the year ahead while looking into your hopes and dreams for 2023. This will be facilitated through a series of mindful art exercises to enable self-awareness and self-expression. Since this is not an art technique retreat all levels are welcome.

Materials are not provided, the event contain regular breaks throughout. See programme below:
10.30 – Morning part 1. Tuning in, train our internal vision and setting up the mood for the day.
11.40 – Morning part 2 – Reflecting on the past year and celebrating achievements
12.45 – Lunch break
13.30 – Afternoon part 1 – breaking barriers and letting go
15.15 – Afternoon part 2 – setting up your vision for the new year

1x A2 white card (120 gsm)
1x colour card of your choice (you may want to think about what colour would represent ‘Transformation’ for you).
1x A3 white card (120 gsm)
10x A4 white paper (thickness of your choice)
Colour pencils
scissors
glue stick
magazines for collage

Who is this for and benefits
This retreat on Art and Wellness is for anyone (18+) who wants to understand the process of using mindfulness techniques through art skills for their own wellbeing and self-awareness. With this retreat I’m aiming to help you to have a clearer vision of the path and steps you want to achieve for this 2023, being aware of the barriers that prevents you from doing so and how to prevent them or minimise their impact.
