Tom Motley is a cartoonist, illustrator, and educator. His publications include Penumbric.com, The Brooklyn Rail, French Revolutions for Beginners, The One Marvelous Thing, and contributions to the indie anthology Cartozia Tales. In the 1990s, he oversaw the comic-strip collective Hector, placing jam strips and experimental comics in zines, underground papers, and literary mags in the U.S. and abroad.
